Alumni
Compass program participants are considered alumni once they have completed the two-year savings period and achieved their asset goal. Our new alumni program is designed to offer continuing support to program graduates as they work toward additional financial goals. Our goal is to assist alumni in preserving the assets they built through Compass programs and in continuing to build economic security for their families.
Current resources and opportunities for alumni are described below.
Learn. Alumni are always welcome at our financial education workshops to brush up on their skills. You can also find excellent workshops, open and free to the public, on college and retirement planning at Fidelity investor centers around the state. In addition, sign up to receive our quarterly newsletter, which provides program updates, financial planning information, and news about local, regional, and national asset-building initiatives.
Volunteer. Check out volunteer opportunities at Compass and help other families reach their savings and asset goals.
Tell your story. Encourage other parents to enroll in Compass programs by sharing your unique success story. We are always eager to have alumni speak at informational events for new families or tell their stories in our written materials.
Advocate. Help us promote and expand asset building opportunities for working, low-income families. Click here for more information.
