Chelsea Pennucci | National Network Manager
Chelsea joined Compass in August 2016 as the manager for the organization’s National FSS Network. In this role, she works with our national partners to drive the successful incorporation of asset building and financial capability strategies into their new or existing FSS programs. Prior to Compass, Chelsea worked as the Strategic Communications Manager at Health Leads, a national social enterprise that partners with health systems to create models for integrating patients' social needs into primary care delivery. In this role, she developed a passion for exploring how innovative, high-growth non-profits can effectively scale impact, and committed herself to a career rooted in social justice. Chelsea is also an alumna of AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) where she served as both an Assistant Team Leader and the Ambassador Program Coordinator for the Atlantic Region. She currently serves as a Net Impact Board Fellow at Commonwealth Corporation and volunteers as a team mentor for United Way's Youth Venture program in Boston.
Chelsea graduated from Bates College with a B.S in Psychology and concentrations in Public Health and Education. She holds a Family Self-Sufficiency Specialist certification from Nan McKay and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
