February 2014: Citi Community Development selects Compass Working Capital as an Innovation and Impact Fund winner, providing major support for the launch of Compass’s Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program replication in partnership with Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership (MBHP). MBHP is the largest regional provider of rental assistance vouchers in the state, helping make rent affordable for more than 6,500 households through Housing Choice Voucher Program subsidies. This three-year pilot program aims to recruit 250 MBHP Housing Choice Voucher Program participants to Compass’s Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program, an asset-building model for the federal FSS program.
