Joselyn Yrayta | Financial Coaching Associate
Joselyn joined Compass in August 2016, bringing with her a passion to work with low-income families to help them reach their financial goals. Prior to Compass, Joselyn worked for more than four years at Casa Myrna, Boston's leading domestic violence agency, as the Self Sufficiency Specialist. In that role, she coached low-income families in areas such as personal finance, employment, and education, and helped families navigate the public benefits system, banking institutions, and college and universities, among others. She also facilitated financial groups on various financial topics with survivors of domestic violence in homeless shelters and schools. In addition to her work at Compass, Joselyn also spends her time volunteering with animal adoptions and foster care. She speaks Spanish and is learning Mandarin.
Joselyn received her B.A in Women’s Cardiovascular Health from Hampshire College in 2011.
