Shailean Hardy | Senior Financial Coaching Associate
Shailean joined Compass in April 2015. Before Compass, Shailean worked in promoting environmental and economic sustainability within low-income populations in Pennsylvania. She taught energy efficiency as a means of lowering energy consumption and utility bills and also served as a Case Manager for people on public assistance who were seeking to acquire the necessary skills to reenter the workforce. Shailean has an interest in social justice advocacy and has volunteered at organizations dealing with domestic violence, judicial abuse, and indigenous land rights. At Compass, Shailean works primarily with families in the FSS+ Program operated in partnership with Cambridge Housing Authority.
Shailean received a B.A. in History and Anthropology from St. John’s University and a Master’s in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College London.
