Tania Shabazz | Director of Programs, Boston
Tania joined Compass in October 2015 and currently serves as the Director of Programs, Boston. Before Compass, Tania spent ten years in Retail Sales Management, most recently as a General/Area Manager in the Metro Boston area. In this work, she enjoyed building teams, coaching colleagues, leading strategic planning to drive positive results, and developing client-focused services and incentives to maintain strong business relationships. At Compass, she is excited to be working one-on-one with families as they build financial stability. Tania provides support to Compass's National Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Network partners, coordinates and delivers professional development to Compass financial coaches, creates guides and resources on financial content, and develops pathways for including feedback from clients into Compass's services. She also coaches families enrolled in Compass's FSS program operated in partnership with Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership (MBHP).
Tania received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University in 2005, with concentrations in Management, Marketing, and International Business.
