Andria Chien | Director of Training and Project Development
Andria joined in June 2021 and current serves as the Director of Training and Project Development. Andria has a passion for supporting root-cause solutions and was drawn to Compass because of its client-centered approach to asset building. Prior to joining Compass, Andria managed an AmeriCorps program at the United Way of Greater New Bedford aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect by supporting parents and caregivers of young children. Before that, she served as a Constituent Affairs Representative with the U.S. Senate where she assisted individuals navigating challenges with federal agencies and conducted community outreach. Andria received a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s in History and Anthropology from the University of Vermont. She enjoys gardening, camping, and spending time with her cat, Bruce.
