McKinsey Alston | Chief Human Resources Officer
McKinsey Alston joined Compass in November 2021 as the Chief Human Resources Officer and is responsible for leading the development and execution of our equity-focused human capital strategy. He is inspired by Compass’ mission to help families with low incomes build assets and, as a result, close the wealth gap in America. McKinsey is excited to help lead Compass into its next stage of growth while continuing to build a strong, diverse, and inclusive culture across the organization.
Prior to Compass, McKinsey served as the Managing Director - Talent, Culture, and Organizational Effectiveness (HR) at United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. He earned his B.S. in Marketing from Rutgers University - Camden and M.S. in Organizational Leadership & Human Resources from Widener University - Main Campus. He also earned his SHRM-SCP and completed his certificate in Human Resources from Villanova University.
In his spare time, McKinsey sells and invests in real estate. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, golfing, and reading.
